We only got one picture together because we didn't want to hand the camera off to just anybody, but Saturday night a group of 5 teenage girls came up to us and wanted us to take their picture; so we just traded.

NYC
My mom and I got to go to the SCBWI Winter Conference in New York City over the weekend and we had a blast! Besides having fun at the conference itself, we went to see Wicked at the Gerswhin theater (Broadway), ate at the Hard Rock Cafe (also on Broadway) and visited the John Lennon Imagine memorial (Central Park). I also introduced my mom to adding syrups to Starbucks hot chocolate and totally blew her mind. ;-) (Ask for caramel or raspberry next time you go and discover the definition of yumminess.)
We only got one picture together because we didn't want to hand the camera off to just anybody, but Saturday night a group of 5 teenage girls came up to us and wanted us to take their picture; so we just traded.
